Campania – Archeo Wine tour

Max capacity: from 2 to 10 people

Description

There is no other place in the Mediterranean area where the Roman Empire left a mark as the Pompeians did.
You will go on a journey through vineyards and villas, with a stop in a rustic farmhouse of the eighteenth century immersed in a pergola vineyard, today home to a tasting room and amphora wine process.

You start the tour with a visit to the experimental vineyards where you admire the new project of conversion from Biodynamics to Radionics.
It is important to know that making wine in Pompei is not as obvious as the multi-millennial history of the site could suggest. The urbanization of the second half of the twentieth century drastically reduced the rural share of these places, relegating the Pompeian wine to the landholdings clinging to the slopes of Vesuvius.
You visit the Roman necropolis and the Bourbon canal. The necropolis of Pompei, as required by the Roman laws, rose outside the walls, near the entrance to the city: in Pompei six necropolises were discovered, some of them small and others as Porto Ercolano, Porta Nocera and the Fondo Pacifico which contain a greater number of tombs. You end up by visiting the areas dedicated to vinification and refining processes.

Everything takes place in an environment of rustic elegance, where nothing is left to chance and attention to details is an essential prerogative. A total experience in a scenography that, at every step, merges with the art of walking and drinking, until it becomes a Tasting that involves all the senses.
