Tuscany – Sensing Florence

Learn how to eat as an Italian with a special guide, a food and wine expert who teaches you how to do it with all your 6 senses (hearing, sight, smell, touch, taste plus the heart).
You will start the morning walking around Florence and stopping by a famous bakery to experience one of the best “schiacciata” in town. The schiacciata is a typical Tuscan focaccia, cooked in the oven, seasoned with olive oil and salt.
Then you will head to the Central Market where you will learn about the old and the new market concept, have the chance to touch, smell and get to know all the Italian flavors and main ingredients of many of the renowned Italian dishes.
You will end up at a very special place in the center of Florence where you will taste 3 excellences: Parma Ham, Parmesan Cheese and Balsamic Vinegar together with wine. Every bite and sip obviously accompanied by the description of the best technique to sense it all and reach the pleasure.
Finally, you will go for dessert at a very special place, where they have been making Cantucci (Tuscan biscuits) since 1858.
If you are more an ice-cream person, you could instead experience how to make it and learn how to mix and match ingredients to make a tasty one.
An experience, which will involve all your senses. Be ready to change your perspective and the way you have always approached food before.
