The palazzo, with its new hospitality philosophy, is the perfect place for bespoke experiences in a spectacular frame. On the sweeping grounds, there are an evocative swimming pool area, solarium, a private spa with Hammam bath and a Finnish sauna. An open-air courtyard is available for guests to gather and enjoy a glass of wine, breakfast or sit by a fire. The house offers nine bedrooms.

The property’s minimalist design strips returned as essential as possible, as augmenting the grandeur of the palazzo’s unique frescoes, vaulted ceilings, and mosaic flooring, to create a dramatic canvas for the villa’s current artwork collection. At the far end corridor of the palazzo you’ll find the garden, with green pastures filled with orange trees. The estate includes 500 square meters of private grounds, gardens and private property. The interior of the property measures 500 square meters and it can accommodate a total of 18 guests.

Originally constructed in 1861, was designed in neoclassical style, with stone, original tiles floors, quality washed wooden boards and marble. Vaulted and frescoed ceilings together with carefully-curated modern equipment and pieces of contemporary art, gives a modern and minimalist feel to the interiors, yet very comfortable, this is a neo-classic retreat full of light and a welcoming vibe. The building, originally heavy and full of old furniture, it’s been recently (2019) restored and renovated, with a contemporary-feel: historical spaces are preserved, its majesty maintained, combined it with contemporary art and under the influence of a strong, authentic local culture. By stripping back the interiors while preserving the structure’s architectural integrity through the restoration of ornate frescos and original flooring, the palazzo offers an exceptional backdrop for its carefully-curated modern art collection. The interiors offer various living room lounges, with modern sofas and chairs of pure design while the ceilings and well are preserved from the 19th century. In respect of the minimalist philosophy that fills the atmosphere of this villa, one TV that can be installed in the main living room on request. A well-equipped kitchen with a bright arch window that opens to the outside and a Turkish bath and Finnish sauna.

At the very tip of Italy’s heel, located in Salento, this nine suite artist guest house is a reformed aristocratic palazzo built in the 18th century. Salento peninsula is composed of limestone, known also as “peninsula salentina”, from a geo-morphologic point of view it encompasses the land borders between Ionian and the Adriatic Seas, to the “Messapic threshold”, a depression that runs along the Taranto-Ostuni line and separates it from the Murge.
