Villa Ermes is at 15 minutes walking from the center of Positano (about 1,5 km), allowing for easy connections to all the highlights of the Amalfi coast such as Ravello, Sorrento and Amalfi. Other popular destinations such as Naples, Pompeii, and Paestum are also easily reachable by private boat, by ferry, or by car. The Amalfi Coast is the stretch of Italian coastline that runs between Naples and Salerno. The area is renowned for its beauty, its hospitality, its traditional cuisine, and its charm. The most famous centers of the Amalfi Coast are above all Amalfi, Ravello, and Positano. Each one of these towns has its own unique sites, traditions, and special recipes. Amalfi, the very heart of the Amalfi Coast, used to be the city where the dukes of ‘Malfi managed politics and economics from the time of the early Renaissance. Positano the most chic location on the coast in last 60 years. The Amalfi Coast now features modern comforts and services, but has also retained its ancient beauty and its traditional character.

From its terraces, extensions of the house that dominate the town center of Positano, the dreamlike views are just spectacular, extending onto Positano’s beach and the colourful homes that line its panorama, while the Mediterranean and the romantic Galli islands lie in the background. This unique view allows guests to follow the changes of the sky and sea during the day and night.

Villa Ermes is an incredible 4 bedrooms property overlooking the sea, laying on a rocky ridge at few steps to the centre Positano, the most charming location of the Amalfi Coast. Coming down you’ll enter into a little paradise of shining flowers, yellow lemon trees and gorgeous views of the sea. The property is based on many levels filled by small terraced gardens, nice spots, plants and several terraces after about 50 steps you’ll enter into a lounge area where you can enjoy a 180°view of the Coast. The furnishings are in modern style and are of excellent quality.

The main access is from the third level, where are 3 double bedrooms each with own bathroom with shower and amazing panoramic views.

On the second level (20 steps lower) you have the main terrace, from where you’ll have access to the garden and solarium equipped with elegant lounges and armchairs to have a drink or to read a book.

Just outside of the living area there is a big outdoor dining area with a large table for a panoramic and al “fresco dinner and breakfast”, a big fountain makes all the setting really charming and welcoming. The large terrace give access on a living-room area, furnished with Mediterranean and really modern style furniture and light linen tapestries made of natural fabric, large windows from where you can enjoy a terrific scenario. On the same floor there is: a spacious living-room with a modern and well equipped kitchen, a dining area, 1 wc with washbasin.

On the ground floor take place a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower, a Spa area. this bedroom has also a private access to the a flight of steps that is a shortcut to reach in few minutes the centre of Positano.

The villa is equipped with all the modern comforts: air conditioning in all the rooms, satellite TV, Internet connection, telephone, a well-equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher, washing machine and other facilities.

Villa Ermes has been recently renovated and equipped with all modern comforts such as air-conditioning in each bedrooms and living-room. The standard of the amenities and services is very high. A daily maid service is included. I.e. transfer service, a cooking service and a shopping delivery service are available on request. The house is in an excellent position for going around the Amalfi and Sorrento Coast and visiting all the main towns as Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento which can also be reached via the sea, or Ravello which is famous for its festival which starts at the end of June and ends at the end of September.
